Our Team

Carole Postal, President 

Carole is known for her entertainment experience, trend licensing acumen, fashion branding and retail expertise. Prior to founding Spotlight Licensing, Carole founded CopCorp Licensing, over 23 years ago and co-founded Knockout Licensing in 2012.  Under Carole’s  leadership, thanks to her 14 years representing movie, television and animation programming from Warner Bros, coupled with her fashion brand and entertainment consulting experience, Carole built a reputation within the licensing industry for creating successful branding and licensing programs for trend-licensing non-media based properties including billion-dollar brand Jim Benton’s It’s Happy Bunny and international fashion brand Pink Cookie.  More recently, Carole gained industry recognition for innovative and strategic management of leading television/entertainment properties highlighted by huge licensing success with Downton Abbey and Outlander.

Carole is a nine-time LIMA Licensing Excellence Award winner (including 2004 “Art Brand License of the Year” and 2015 “Best Overall Film, Television, or Entertainment Live Action Licensing Program of the Year”).  Prior to founding CopCorp Licensing, Carole served as Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Licensing for the Americas for the Children’s Television Workshop (now called Sesame Workshop).  Carole is on the Board of Directors for the non-profit organization Delivering Good. She also served as an Officer and on the Board of Directors for LIMA, the licensing industry trade association, for over 15 years.

Spotlight Licensing President Carole Postal is proud to serve as an Executive Board member for Delivering Good and to Co-Chair the organization’s annual Women of Inspiration Luncheon.

Since 1985, Delivering Good has been providing new merchandise to people impacted by poverty and tragedy around the world. As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization, Delivering Good works directly with hundreds of companies in the fashion, home and children’s industries to distribute new products – such as apparel, accessories, shoes, home furnishings, toys, books, cribs and other items – to more than 1,000 charitable organizations across the United States and the world. With over $1.8 billion of donated product to date, Delivering Good provides hope, dignity and self-esteem to families and individuals facing daily challenges and recovering from disasters. 


Through her work with Delivering Good, Carole sees many opportunities for those in the licensing industry to support Delivering Good’s mission and to share its impact with companies looking to support community causes and build out CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) efforts. An efficient nonprofit, Delivering Good continues to be the charity of choice for product donations by hundreds of companies across a variety of industries. Spotlight Licensing is a member of Licensing International (formerly known as LIMA), the leading trade organization for the global licensing industry. Carole served as an Officer and on the Board of Directors for LIMA and remains active in the organization by leading Coursework in Licensing Studies (CLS) online webinars. Bing is a beloved and award-winning animated children’s television series about playful and energetic Bing Bunny and his carer Flop. All Creatures Great & Small (Playground) is a charming and heartfelt British period drama based on the best-selling memoirs of James Herriot, chronicling his life in the 1930’s as a young man who joins a rural veterinary practice in Yorkshire.  The popular television series offers viewers a warm and comforting escape to the English countryside with gentle laughs, cozy cottage décor and of course, a variety of animals from large to small. Two seasons available for streaming with at least two more seasons already ordered by PBS Masterpiece.
